Calima – Lanzarote

Calima-La-Geria-Lanzarote

“Calima” they call in Lanzarote those strong, hot winds blowing all the way from African dessert over the ocean and way past the Canary Islands. Fine particles of desert sand, suspended in the air cover the sky that, during sunset, bathes the landscape in a bright, orange glow.
