Some words about me...
I grew up close to the palatinate forest in southern Germany, just ten minutes from the French boarder.
Since my childhood I felt very close to nature and I loved to spend my time outside the house. Even if now, I have to admit, I do like to spend time on my Mac, editing my images or doing some web sites.
One of my favourite memories is, of course, the school holidays, when I was able to spend these days with my grandparents hiking this beautiful area of Germany, with its amazing landscapes and castles. I remember my mother telling me that there must be some Gypsy blood running through my veins as there was nothing that could keep me at home. Not long after I finished school I left my hometown. Always on the move, nothing could keep me long in one place. Even if they where beautiful and I met a lot of nice people... there was always a little voice, calling me, telling me to keep on moving, to keep on discovering that beautiful world full of fascinating things and places.
But for more then ten years now, I have found an anchorage on the fortunate Spanish island of Lanzarote, not far from the coast of Morocco in the North Atlantic Ocean. Here, where it seems sometimes that time stands still and the landscape looks like one from another world making you feel as if you live on a different planet, I have my home and starting point to my still continuing traveling.
Yes, I do love traveling
Even I do love this little island I'm living on, as you can see if you have a look at my Lanzarote pictures, I also love to be on the move. Visiting, getting to know and photograph all these incredible, beautiful landscapes I encounter, people and their different cultures, traditions and rituals. Have a look through my different image galleries, bringing you closer to what I discovered during some of my trips. Don't know where to start? One of the most beautiful landscapes I have found so far was in New Zealand. Discover New Zealand now in my picture galley. There is even a beautiful New Zealand photo book which you can view here online and if you like get a copy for your coffee table.
Oh, and I do love to communicate
So if you like to get in contact with me there is plenty different ways to get hold on me. And yes, I do like to communicate so abuse me. Go and:

Whewww.... if this wasn't enough you have to let me know where else you would like to see me.
Help the always starving artist
While it is nice to look at good photography on your computer, there is nothing like having a beautifully printed picture hanging on your wall. Wether be it printed and framed on some good quality photo papers or be it on some genuine canvas. Why squeeze nice photography on a small screen when you can have it as a nice big print where all the details and colours come alive, making you feel as if you where right on the spot there with me. You can search for pictures you would like in my photo galleries and just drop me a line and let me know which one you are interested in. One thing be said: I am a perfectionist and all pictures are printed on high quality photo papers by people who do understand their labour of fine art printing.
